The request from an Italian-Libyan customer is the following: projecting a 32-room hotel (about 80 people) with an overall surface of about 2500 sq.mt. including areas to be shared, restaurant, cafeteria, offices, shops, + kitchens, storehouses and further services.

The location is quite unique: in the middle of the Sahara, amidst high cordons of sand dunes, 880 km (as the crow flies) from the Mediterranean Coasts, with no airport in the nearby, no road, no electricity. Therefore a building site with no mechanical equipment and with water conveyed to the site inside little tanks.

The request is originated from the growing demand of tourists attracted by an experience in the desert and by the presence of thousands of incredibly interesting rock-drawings and prehistoric paintings at the close Acacus massif.
