The International Exhibition is one of the most important events for the visibility and the development of the building sector in Colombia and in the region. Every two years, the exhibition becomes the platform to establish new contacts and business relationships related to the building sector, architecture and design.

Expoconstrucción & Expodiseño 2009 took place on the premise "Towards an environmentally friendly building and planning". Just based on this principle it was asked to visitors, exhibitors, partners, private individuals as well as national and international governmental organisations, to meet at the exhibition to show materials, processes, products, technologies and researches committed to the environment respect.
