Since always EMMEDUE® demonstrates its passion for speed and motors. Such a passion was realized twice in 2004 and 2007 with the participation of EMMEDUE® to the 24 hours Telethon car racing and with the enjoyable company’s go kart racing held in August 2008. Also this year the company wanted to renew its “roaring heart” by sponsoring a very young talent.
Many were the appointments that Mattia Drudi had to face over the last months and all of great importance:
In Miedziana Gora (Poland), from 20th to 23rd August, Mattia was the only Italian to win the European title, among all the present categories.
In Pomposa (Ferrara - Italy), in a race with double validity being a last test for northern and central Italy, on 6th September Mattia dominated the race starting from the pole position.
This result put the definitive seal on both the area’s titles and it was the prelude of the Italian championship that took place on the same racetrack on 23rd September, where Mattia won also the Italian title.
In Siena (Italy), from 14th to 18th October, Mattia also obtained the second place, after only few centimetres from the Russian Robert Shwartzman, becoming in this way the world vice-champion.
Right after this engagement, thanks to a dispensation from the sport authority based on the results obtained, Mattia will début, being only 11 years old, on the 100 class, in occasion of the Winter Championship on the Ottabiano (Pavia - Italy) racetrack.
SUMMING-UP 2009:
18 Races run off
10 Victories
6 Second places
1 Fourth place
1 Fifth place
Titles:
North Area winner
Central Area Winner
Italian championship
European championship
Worldwide Vice champion
In the last 18 races, an incredible booty of 10 victories and 6 second places, permitted Mattia to buy-up almost all titles, making him the most successful pilot ever heard in the Easykart category.
Good luck Mattia from all EMMEDUE® staff!
