Emmedue was selected to join the EU Gateway programme

For the second consecutive year Emmedue, thanks to its innovative Building System, has been selected to participate to the EU Gateway | Business Avenues that will be held in Tokyo from November 12th to 15th, 2019.
The EU Gateway | Business Avenues is an initiative funded by the European Union that acts as a bridgehead between Europe and the main Asian markets. Emmedue will be one of the 40 companies from the EU having the opportunity to meet the local operators with the aim to establish new and long lasting relationships with Asia, and more specifically with Japan, which in recent decades has increasingly strengthened its economic ties with the European Union.

With more than thirty-five years of international experience gained in the development of technologies aiming to provide an innovative and unique Building System, Emmedue is recognized worldwide and it can boast more than 70 plants that over the years have contributed to the construction of over 1 000 000 buildings. Today, with the reconfirmation of its participation to the EU Gateway | Business Avenues, the Italian company has an extraordinary opportunity to solidify and strengthen its commitment to international key markets, as demonstrated by its participation in trade fairs around the world and, for the record, in the EU Gateway.

“This is a not-to-be-missed opportunity for Emmedue, since this project gives us the opportunity to widen our contacts not only in Japan, but also throughout Asia. Moreover, this event will give us the opportunity of increasing the visibility of our company and of expanding the culture of the Emmedue Advanced Building System in the Far East, an activity already launched in 2018. In fact, through our participation in the previous edition, we have established very important contacts with local realities; therefore, we truly hope that this new edition opens up new business opportunities, while consolidating those already in force” states Domenico Ricci, Emmedue Regional Sales Manager in the Asia-Pacific region.


Among the key aspects of the Emmedue Advanced Building System, we must enumerate:
  • The high earthquake resistance of the buildings, due to the two sheets of reinforced plaster that interact to create an enveloping ‘shell’ of the entire structure;
  • The resistance to cyclones and hurricanes, demonstrated by the ability of the structures built with the Emmedue Building System to cope with breakthrough induced by flying objects at the speed of 106,2 km/h. What said, has been empirically proved both through the successful completion of laboratory tests and the ability of Emmedue buildings to resist the passage of the most devastating cyclones;
  • The excellent thermal insulation, granted by the EPS core that extends throughout the surface of the Emmedue Panel;
  • The high levels of energy efficiency, with the resulting reduction of 60% in the production of CO₂ when compared to traditional buildings;
  • The modularity of the panels, which allows a great production optimization on the building site resulting in a rapid installation and a great cost-effectiveness of the whole project;
  • The complete design flexibility, favoured by a complete range of building elements that allows the constructing of buildings of any type, as well as a great integrability of the Emmedue System with other building systems.
