A social urban project made with the hard work of the people who will live there.
The urban development of Tacarigua V, in the Municipality of Los Guayos in the state of Carobobo (Venezuela), is a social residential complex made up of 616 apartments in 4-story buildings.
The complex itself is part of the much larger social housing plan started in 2011 by Hugo Chávez, through the Great Venezuela Housing Mission (GMVV), aimed at building homes for people living in poverty and precariousness.
The Emmedue Advanced Building System was chosen for its ability to combine efficiency and construction quality, ensuring the rapid construction of safe buildings with excellent seismic and thermal-acoustic resistance and excellent longevity.
The project was carried out by the construction company Fondo Global de Construcción with the labor of the people (men and women) for whom the houses are intended.
The residential complex is also equipped with solar panels that make these homes self-sustaining.
Today the Plan of the Homeland 2019-2025 conceived and started by Hugo Chávez, is continued by the current president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, under the direction of the Ministry of Popular Power for Habitat and Housing (Minhvi), has delivered so far 3,099,280 units in the national territory.
The Bolivarian executive aims to build five million homes before closing in 2025.
