Emmedue at the Fano Carnival 2018
Emmedue will participate as a technical sponsor at the Fano Carnival 2018.
The polystyrene (EPS) used by the company as an integral component of its building system, will come to life through floats.
The continuous research for moldable materials with reduced environmental impact and respect for the traditions of the territory are the basis of the collaboration that sees the company EMMEDUE SPA as technical sponsor of Fano Carnival 2018. The company, which has its operational headquarter in Fano with 6,000 square meters between offices and production area, has in fact donated to the Masters carristas of the most important event in the Region the polystyrene necessary for the realization of numerous parts of the floats of Carnival 2018. As in the past for clay, the polystyrene supplied by EMMEDUE temporally comes out from its primary use and comes to life in the form of a work of art.
“For several years now – explains the Master carrista Ruben Mariotti – we have been started using the polystyrene for the preparation of the carnival floats’ masks, frequently replacing it to the fiberglass, which is a polluting material. The reasons are due to the better characteristics of this material, which is ductile, light and easy to mold. Density is also an essential factor, as it allows us to produce decidedly more resistant subjects ".
EMMEDUE uses polystyrene (EPS) as raw material for its Building System, which is spread all over the world and is backed by a history of over 35 years of success.. The EMMEDUE Building System allows realizing any type of building in compliance with the highest standards in terms of energy efficiency and thermal insulation. At the same time, it allows to optimize the construction costs as well as the costs of logistics and procurement of construction materials on site: all this translates into cheaper buildings more accessible for the end users, with high quality and eco-sustainable characteristics.
The polystyrene supplied by EMMEDUE will also be used for the construction of the major float dedicated to Gioacchino Rossini, on the occasion of the Rossinian year. Thanks to the particular resistance of the material, the parts in question can be dismantled and exposed to the outside throughout the year.
